Prue Houston is a truck pullin', BBQin', weight liftin' fierce machine. We are bloody stoked to have her on board as an ambassador for our Alternative Activewear. When Prue isn't working out, she is working hard. She is a mum of 3, a wife, and a multi-business owner/operator. Prue's healthy attitude to sport, love for competition, and good sportsmanship was shaped early on in life.
Like many of us growing up in Australia she played netball, and had her Coach (aka Dad) help shape her spirit and mental approach to sport. Keeping active and working out is just who Prue is. Her love of feeling strong and powerful is reflected in her training other women to also feel that same passion for seeing muscles appear on their body. With a wicked sense of humour you're sure to catch Prue flexing her strength in a Posh Bogan tee or Peace, Love 'n' Burpees tank with her sass on display - of course in some print leggings!
A workout sesh just wouldn't be complete without some tunes. When we asked what artist (D.O.A) would headline the live performance workout it was a pretty close between the queen Dolly Parton and nostalgic Nirvana. No wonder Spotify struggles to know what to send Prue's way!

What's next on the cards for Prue? Aside from tackling the AWF (Australian Weightlifting Federation) Masters Events as an Olympic Weightlifter, she would love to tap into her Scottish heritage and partake in the Highland Games. When lifting heavy things gets old, why not try throwing them? Prue is an incredible motivational coach who will kick your ass and make you sweat bullets!
If you're struggling to make your fitness goals take her advice; treat your fitness like any other appointments. "You don’t cancel a doctors appointment or your hair appointment, you simply make it fit around your busy day because you have made that commitment. So make that commitment to yourself." And as much as Prue loves to train hard she does look forward to winding down at the end of the day with a wine or some chocolate (sometimes both).
