Kez Koala Kustom Regular Fit Organic Tee
Some of our most iconic native animals are still recovering from the recent bush fires, particularly our furry little Koala mates. As humans we are directly responsible for the decline in Koala numbers. Although Koalas are protected by law, most of the suitable habitat remaining occurs on private land, which is largely unprotected. Woodlands continue to be cleared for agricultural and urban development, which is absolute bullshit.
This range of merch is aimed at helping Koalas out. It features Kezza, a punk as koala who has had enough of this human shit. They're staging a revolution mate. And we’re infinity per cent behind them, with all profits raised going directly to the Bob Brown Foundation. These funds will be used in the fight to protect our flora and fauna via the high court. Imagine living in a world without koalas? Pretty grim hey.
This print artwork by local artist Junglejim Smith: features Kezza, a punk as koala who has had enough of human shitstains chopping down their home. Mohawk bristling with anger and claws are out, flippin' the bird to anyone fucking with their space.
To reduce our own impact these kustom tees are done by a local printer with ethical practices. Each one of these organic black t-shirts are custom produced when ordered, meaning we won’t have excess stock that might end up being unrecyclable.
Crew can use this merch to raise awareness and conversation for our wildlife. Winning on all levels.
The Australian Koala Foundation reckons there are likely less than 80,000 Koalas remaining in Australia BUT that number may actually be as low as 47,860. They need our help. Imagine living in a world without them? No bloody thanks.
Like Koalas, Bob Brown is another Australian icon. He’s been fighting for our native flora and fauna for yonks. Bob’s activism is legendary; he’s fasted on a mountain for a week, helped protect the Franklin River and been arrested during a whole heap of environmental and social actions. The Bob Brown Foundation currently have a special leave application for the High Court to hear their appeal against the Federal Court Great Forest Case ruling; this means they’re trying to convince the suits that our ancient land needs protecting.
AWF want to help by raising some funds via the sale of this special range of merch.
