Our Team

The soul sister behind AWF is our beloved head coach Sabina.

The creator of AWF was inspired to provide an opportunity for like minded gals to get together to share fitness, fun and fabulousness.
After her netball retirement Sabina was missing the team atmosphere she had experienced for a great deal of her life and having been disheartened by the gyms she trialled and the unsupportive environments within she decided to take matters into her own hands.
Sabina is an exciting, amazing and creative being. She is constantly looking for ways to improve and grow AWF and loves collaborating on ideas with the incredible people that are drawn to it.
She is an energiser bunny that doesn’t quit and no hurdle is too great for her.
After having many a spanner thrown in the works (venues closing, etc) she has never let any obstacle beat her down.
She is a fighter and a true inspiration that if you believe in something anything is possible.
A natural born leader and super woman Sabina is the Head Coach that every team dreams of having and which we are honoured and proud as f#ck to have!

MEET PHOEBE | is the ambassador for AWF due to her fierce feminine prowess and infectious attitude.
As the singer/ songwriter for Melbourne band Heaven The Axe, Phoebe possesses the strength and fierceness that AWF strives to promote.
An embodiment of empowerment her image screams proud, tough and pretty in pink.

AWF is stoked to have a prominent female from the Melbourne hard rock scene repping their brand.  Supporting sister gals doing their thing is what we are about and Phoebe is certainly a woman brave enough to lead the way for us to pursue our dreams, whatever they may be.
