We offer (6 week or less) PROGRAMS, so you'll be challenged, encouraged and supported throughout every session; You'll adapt to certain movements and then pushed on to more intense drills/ options, You'll LOVE IT!

    FUNdamentals

    Suitable for Women with ZERO to some experience.

    Our sessions will teach you how to punch properly;
    it's about technique not strength...


    This session also suits Gals getting back into Boxing without the stress of being thrown into the deep end.

    Get back to the FUNdamentals of boxing.
    When you're not throwing a punch, you're ducking + slipping, doing push-ups, squats or core work.

    PiNK BOXiNG is high intensity; a full body workout that will keep you moving the whole time.
    Eliminate any ideas you may have about smashing a punching bag the whole time on your own.

    These sessions are designed to build confidence. Your mind and body will be challenged - learning core skills/ technique; it's a great mix of boxing with a focus on strength and conditioning.

    You'll focus on;

    • Learn how to wrap (week 2-3)
    • Boxing Technique
    • Stance/ footwork
    • Core and balance work
    • Shadow boxing / some combos
    • Some partner work
    • How to pad hold correctly
    • Growing your fitness

    FAQ

    I've done boxing before, do I still need to do FUNdamentals..?
    Everyone is different, if you feel you need a re-fresher for confidence, to touch up your technique or to increase your fitness, FUNDermentals is a perfect option without the pressure of jumping into a fast pace more advanced environment.

    Can I repeat FUNdamentals..?
    If you feel comfortable with FUNdamentals, why move! You can continue in this session until you are ready to move into Intermediates. If you are not sure, ask the Trainer about your progress and if there are aspects of your game you may focus on to get your confidence cooking!

    What do I wear to the sessions?

    • Wear - anything that allows movement
    • Sneakers with minimal grip
    • Bring a drink bottle
    • Bring extra layers particularly in the cooler weather

    IMPORTANT NOTE: GALS MUST ARRIVE BEFORE START TIME; failure to do so will result in delaying your hand wrapping, warm up and important instruction; this may lead to injury, or delaying the group.
    Ensure you arrive 5-10 mins prior to the start of your session.

     

    Bridge (Inbetweeners)
    (6+ weeks of FUNdamentals complete)

    SOME experience required, either with AWF; or had other equivalent similar boxing experience*

    Ya reckon you sorta have a grip on the FUNdermentals, But wanna blow some dust off your moves... You wanna lift the pace, but still a bit nervous about joining Intermediates;

    Bridging sessions will help you on your way to better handling the gap between FUNdermentals and Intermediates sessions;

    Our expectations… You;

    • Can wrap, keen for more practice
    • Sorta ok with your Boxing technique
    • Stance/ footwork…hmm needs more work
    • Core and balance work
    • Partner work; can work with others
    • Know how to pad hold
    • Wanna learn ripping combos
    • Love getting a bit hot and flustered

    PiNK BOXiNG Bridge may be repetitive, as you learn and progress thru all the moves, you may start to notice tone.

    PiNK BOXiNG can be a highly repetitive workout, so you'll see tone rather than bulky muscle. 

    Wanna take your skills to the next level... lift the pace with some instruction and more doing!? The trainer WILL pick on you, only so you can improve your technique.

    We want gals that commit to these session; because they love the challenge and want to train hard... 
    even is it's for one night a week; - get ready to rock!

    • Comfortable with your Boxing Technique
    • Stance/ footwork… pft easy

    FAQ

    What type of experience do I need for Intermediates?
    Must have experience, either currently with AWF; boxed with us in the past, or had other equivalent similar boxing experience. 

    If you don't know how to duck or slip, consider a re-fresher back in the FUNdermentals group.

    Our gals know how to pack a punch so ya gotta know what ya doin'.
    We need gals to have equivalent experience in a proper boxing gym, with a boxing trainer.
    Boxing in the park with a PT a few years ago doesn't count as experience... (Pad holding is just as important as punching, so unless you've been a pad holder for your PT... it's back to FUNdamentals...)

    We stress technique, especially for beginners to prevent injury...
    We don't want to turn you into the next UFC superstar; We just wanna to give you the opportunity to learn, grow and develop into a great boxer.

    EXPERIENCED 
    "Train like a fighter" 

    Suitable for;
    Intermediate - Advanced
    *min 24 months
    ongoing training.

    (The Trainer may choose to split the group into skill level - so you can further develop.) 

    Suitable for Women that are at a more advanced level + looking to take their skills/ ability to the next stage;

    Wanna lift your game, lift the pace with less instruction and more doing!? The trainer will pick on your technique, only so you can improve your technique.

    Includes intense fitness training where the mind, heart + body are pushed to NEW heights!
    You may not be planning to step into the ring (seriously) anytime soon, that doesn't mean you can't train like an elite athlete. 

    Learning from the best + experienced Pro-Boxer Natalie Amoré.

    Each session we'll look at how you can train like a boxer through various fitness training techniques + light sparring.

    A waver may need to be signed prior to participating.
    You may also need to have a mouthguard.
