MUM & CUB SERIES

You can be a Mum that totally ROCKS!

AWF's Mum & Cub series, is a program where MUM (Tigress) can workout while their babies (CUB) look on in a rockin’- supportive environment.

Our focus is on increasing strength and engaging the core. It's all about working your body in a safe and effective way.

Babies:  Must be in prams

Suitable for Women (Tigress) aged 18+, Mums with or without bubs. 

What to expect….
All our sessions are LOW IMPACT, - Yay! No running or jumping, (this will help prevent accidents) …Slow and controlled movements, so you can engage all the right areas,
(Even if you do have an accident – piss ya-self) - Everyone will understand and be supportive.

·         Reduce stress and anxiety

·         Meet new friends

·         A key focus on abs and pelvic floor muscles;

·         Full explanation of movements to grow your understanding;

·         Fun, social and informative sessions;

·         Classes guided by AWF Master Trainer

Mum’s that attend understand that babies have unsettled days, we will work around this and help you to still get a workout.
Strictly no judgement - around the care of your own baby. We expect everyone attending to be caring and supportive.

Our trainer may be able to offer alternative moves for injury or ailment; no-one is pressured or yelled at; You are encouraged to join in when you can.
We boast a very supportive and save environment. Each individual is encouraged to work within their means; the Trainer can always offer alternative options!

What do I wear to the sessions?

·         Comfy gear that allows movement

·         Sneakers

·         Bring/ wear extra layers particularly in the cooler weather... 

We supply Equipment.

What to bring to sessions....

·         Water Bottle

·         Towel

·         Pads or products you might need.

·         Pram or baby carrier

·         Baby needs (you’ll need to take waste with you)

·         Please eat an hour before each sesh, ie. a banana and pack a snack for after or during your session.

Paperwork:

You will need to fill out a form prior to your first session; so please come with ya form pre-filled or super early to suss out at the venue.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure you have clearance from your Doc before participating in your first session.

My back always hurts can I attend?
If you have a serious condition; This session may not be suitable. Get the ‘all clear from your professional + always ensure your concerns are discussed with the trainer PRIOR to commencing any session. 

I’m Pregnant can I attend?
During pregnancy exercise should be practiced with extreme caution due to all the changes going on in your body. 
Please always let your instructor know if you are pregnant / or planning pregnancy.

Can the sessions hurt your joints?
Movements shouldn't hurt your joints if performed properly. If you have any joint pains or injuries then you should talk to your professional and make sure that have the ‘all clear’ to attend our programs. 

PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE START TIME;  Ensure you arrive 10 mins prior to the start of your session.

Why Mum & Cub?
We revere the tiger as a symbol of strength and courage. AND it's easy to see why.

We love how Tigers move with deliberate ease and economy with the ability to unleash full ferocity in bursts. Essentially, these characteristics are also instinctively required by all Women - particularly Mothers. AWF recognises the importance of being active and growing strength and courage. This is why we've introduced the MUM & CUB series, so mum doesn't have to miss out on a fierce routine workout.
